iLivid Download Manager is an application which helps you download and watch video files. This tool is very simple: there are only two adjustable settings. On the one hand, you can select the number of files that can be downloaded at once, on the other hand, you can set the app to automatically play the videos when the download reaches a certain percentage of completion.
The program provides a built-in video player, namely VLC player. This means that most popular video formats are already supported, so there's no need to install any codecs or conversion tools. The application provides, by default, 4 websites with videos ready to download and play. Although the developers mention that all popular online video sites are supported, the statement is not completely true. For example, I managed to download a file from YouTube, but my attempts to do the same with Metacafe and Vimeo failed.
In other words, iLivid Download Manager is a nice tool with a good downloading speed. It works perfectly when downloading from the websites provided as add-ons, but when dealing with other well-known sites, it often fails.
